From here, you can see the pulley to
accommodate two drive belts. The motor has a three belt drive pulley. The guy I got this from said, it used to be powered from above, apparently with two belts. The two belts on it now, seem to be quite sufficient, as well as brand new. Both pulleys are heavy, machined steel. You can also see the homemade shelf for the motor. |

The Tables Can be Extended by Loosening the Two Knobs on the Back of Each One

Great
Oval Emblem
But,
unfortunately, it broke in half as I was removing the screws. I believe
it could be brazed back together. |

What a Great Emblem!

This is a BIG Motor
It's one of those old time, GE motors. The label says it's 2 HP. It also says, 10.2 amps at 230 volts. Or, you can run it on 115 volts at 20.4 amps. By
today's standards, I think it would, conservatively, be considered a 2 1/2 HP. In any event, it's plenty capable. And, heavy, about 85 lbs. |
