Free Software I'm posting some software here that I have found useful. I've downloaded it from various sources on the Internet and placed it here for your use. I make no warranties regarding these programs. I didn't write them, I just use them and find them useful to me. I hope you do to. I'm only listing Freeware. You don't have to pay anything to use this software. The programs do not contain nag screens, reminders, or anything else. Sorry, I don't provide tech support. These are all Windows programs. I have used them on W95, W98, ME and XP. Enjoy!
Iomega made this print utility available for a short time, but it is no longer on their site, to the best of my knowledge. This small program is very useful if you do a little or a lot of work with digital photos. It doesn't edit, it doesn't save, it won't allow renaming of your photos. What it does do, is allow you to print multiple pictures, either the same or mixed, of various sizes, on one sheet of paper. It also will print thumbnails of all the images in a folder or directory. It is just over one MB in size, so will easily fit on a floppy disk. This file is self-extracting. Get it here You've probably seen these kinds of programs, before.
They let you sync your computer clock to an atomic clock. I like
this one because it is so small and not obtrusive. You can set it
to run automatically or manually, as I have. This program is only
76kb, zipped. You will need to unzip it before installing.
Get it here Do you download many programs? This hand little utility will seek out and find SPY WARE that may be on your computer. You can get spy ware installed on your computer, without your knowledge, by downloading some programs (not any on this site) or even by just surfing the Internet. Delete these little nasties, now, with AdAware. 1.7mb. Get it here. |
