I'm NOT a Neander,but, I do
Fool Around.
Actually, these are a very few of the planes I have collected over the past several years. You used to be able to pick these up at garage sales, for a couple of bucks, but I guess people are wiser now than, then. I do use most of these on almost every project. Some of them have become quite valuable.

My Delta 12" Radial Arm Saw
I bought this about
two years ago, from an ad in the classifieds. I probably paid too much (unusual, for me) but it is in very good condition. It's wired for 220V and is very powerful. I haven't taken the time to set it up properly, so I don't really use it much, but I will. |

Delta Mortiser and Makita 10" Miter Saw
These are in kinda cramped quarters, but it hasn't really caused a problem, so far. I've had the Makita for many years, but the Mortiser was a Christmas gift a
couple of years ago. |
This is my Roll Around Sander Table.
I built it and the router table behind it, out of some prefinished walnut plywood I obtained at a garage sale. I have
enough left to build another of the same size. Price for all of it? Twenty bucks! |

My Old Standby Bench. Built from a Piece of Bowling Alley.
This thing is HEAVY! It is very strong and serves well for what I use it for. I have three vises attached. A metalworking vise at the far end, a rapid action in the middle and a nifty smaller rapid action at the left end. Under the bench is my 25 year old Craftsman air compressor. That will be going into my wife's garden shed just as soon as I get the new one plumbed in. |
This is my Delta 14", 1.5 HP Bandsaw.
To the right of it is my Craftsman 12" Drill Press and to the left is my new Air Compressor. |

Old Craftsman 6x48 Belt and 9" Disk Sander.
Yeah, that's right, this is the one everyone complains about not tracking very well. And, every word is true. Still, I would hate to go without it. It has been a real workhorse for 25 years. But, one day I will replace it with
something a
little more heavy-duty. |
Ah, my Delta 6"
Jointer.
It's not much, 6 inch and 3/4 HP, but it's another I would hate to be without.
Another "to be upgraded" tool. |

Not much of a View, Here.
Between the drill press and the bandsaw, looking at the far wall. My workbench that I use for everything is center, right. It is kind of a typical cabinet makers bench. Two vises, bench dogs, a row of drawers and a door. It is very good, but one day I will build another one, much larger
than this. |
The Only Dust Collection in the Shop.
And I keep it
permanently connected to my planer. The new planer arrived today. How am I ever going to tell the wife? |

Jocko, the Shop Cat.
He doesn't like push sticks...or the noise of my machines, but, at least he sticks around unlike my dog. Start blowing some air from the compressor and the dog is out of there! |
